| 5th January 2005 Refurbished Croatian WLee Cars... Another Update! 12:05 |
It seems there are ten WLee cars, numbered 61 78 71-70 001-0 to 010-1. I found some technical details for rebuilt types At, Bee, Beelt and WLee on the Tvornica eljezničkih Vozila Gredelj website.
The first five are fitted with MD 52 bogies, and the latter five with MD 522 type with magnetic track brakes.

Rudolf Ossig sent me this rather interesting picture of a wagon registered as a coach, seen at Bebra on 20/11/04. He writes:
Here is the scan of a very strange wagon. It is said that this was in a former life a "Heizwagen" of Tegernseebahn used with their passenger trains. Now it's owned by BayernBahn (part of Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum at Nördlingen) and renumbered to 75 80 99-03 990-4.
According to a post on www.revisionsdaten.de, it was previously Laabs 21 80 431 9 182-2. Note the new registration D-BYB.

Long time no update :-(
Hopefully you all enjoyed Christmas and the New Year. In total I did eight trips of varying length to the continent last year... let's see if I can equal or beat that this year!
Below are various snippets I've been meaning to post for a while. Hope to continue the update within the next few days.
